Singer Chris Brown, who is no stranger to public drama, tweeted his consternation with the Jacksons on his Twitter account earlier today. A huge Michael Jackson fan, Brown, 23, is horrified that the Jackson children and adults are bickering back and forth on Twitter.com.
Michael is surely rolling in his grave.
There are 2 schools of thought on the headline-grabbing Jackson family drama: The most popular opinion is that the entire saga is a well-orchestrated publicity stunt to promote the Jackson brothers’ tour. The other (less popular) opinion is that, based on rumors, Jackson matriarch Katherine Jackson, 82, is in the early stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s.
The latter would explain why Michael Jackson’s children haven’t heard from their grandmother in almost 2 weeks.
Either way, most industry insiders wish the Jacksons would get off the internet and settle their differences privately.
