More about Jayvic and Jahilez:

Both artists started singing at an early age and grew up with a similar musical back ground; from the likes of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Micheal Jackson and Usher, just to name few. Jahilez and Jayvic’s first meeting came in 2007 when both artists were auditioning for a music competi-tion called “UK Unsigned” and from there, fate played its part.

After the audition, Jayvic happened to invite Jahilez to a studio session and that is where the musical friendship grew and moved to the next level, they started working together, producers would invite them to help with a track or two on harmonies, live sessions and live performances until a point where everyone was telling Jahilez and Jayvic that they sound amazing together and they decided to take people’s advice on board and to work on an E.P.

Jayvic and Jahilez have got incredible credit under their belt on the music scene and the movie scene. Jayvic’s passion and drive to be a musician has remained intact throughout his life, managing to combine this with his education, alongside his undergraduate degree in Music and Television Studies. To date, Jayvic has performed at private and top public gigs with popular and renowned UK artists, such as the Sugababes and top UK rapper Bashy.

Jahilez, on the other hand, attended the British Academy of New Music alongside DJ Ironik, Jazz bailey, Ed Sherman, Tinchy Stryder and Hectifyer co-founder of Nubian knightz. 2011 was full of a variety of experiences for the singer. Jahilez also wrote and produced songs for a charity EP (Congo Unite) to raise money for orphaned children of war, an unforgettable experience that just goes to show how far he has already made a name for himself. Jahilez also starred in a film documentary for channel4 in the UK which was screened in September 2011 called operation overt with raw material com-pany, the documentary deals with the aftermath of the London bombing of 7/7.
