[VIDEO] Identical Twin Sisters Give Birth One Hour Apart !! But who impregnated them??

Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Twin sisters Zaakira Mitchell and Shaakira White have done everything together, including giving birth.

Mitchell traveled from Rock Hill to accompany White to her doctor's appointment at Palmetto Health Baptist. But she had no idea she and her sister would go into labor.

"Around three, 3:30 she came back and said 'I'm 5 centimeters dilated.' So Dr. Ferguson was telling her that she was going to be admited today, so that meant we were both going to have our babies on the same day," said Mitchell. "We didn't know, it wasn't planned."

Zaakira gave birth to baby Kadin Zaakai and an hour later, Shaakira delivered twins, Landon Elijah and London Elise, by C-section. All of the babies were delivered by Dr. James Ferguson.

"She was actually supposed to start her C-section at 5:30," said Mitchell."But I was obviously taking too long."

"I was kind of ready to get it over with, I was already nervous but she was taking forever," said White.

Mitchell was actually supposed to be due on July 26 and White had scheduled her C-section for August 2.

For Mitchell, the experience of sisterhood and motherhood at one time is memorable.

"That's like my best friend. So for us to share this, that was really special and it was really emotional," she said.
