Nigeria: Boko Haram Ed El-Fitr Attack in Kano Uncovered.


Converted poultry farm to arms depot to hit Muslim faithfuls on Ed El-Fitr day celebration.
JTF recovered these weapons during a raid around today on a suspected hideout of the Islamic Terror group, Boko Haram inside a bush in Tudun Bayero in Gadan Tamburawa area in Kano.
 



The hideout was initially used as a poultry house.

Items recovered in the compound include 36 IEDs of various calibres, five guns, four smoke guns, 739 rounds of various calibre of ammunition, 2.5 litres of nitric acid, 7 bags of ammonia fertilizer, three face masks, military uniforms, banners with Arabic inscriptions, 90 packs of fire crackers, 55 medical syringes and hand gloves.

JTF intellegence said that the terror group was preparing to attack Muslim faithfuls on next week's the Ed el-fitr celebration.

“From intelligence available, the materials and ordnance were to be used on innocent persons during the forthcoming Sallah celebration,” - Director of State Security Service, Mr. Bassey Eteng.
