Boko Haram's accountant arrested with N4.5M cash

It all began last week when the said Boko Haram accountant traveled from Maiduguri, Borno to Kano to make cash transfers.  When he and his associate carried out the transfer, it raised the curiosity of the bank officials who alerted security agents.  


When the agents caught up with the associate, the accountant was already on his way to Zaria.  Men of the Joint Task Force (JTF) then set up a manhunt which enabled them apprehend the Boko Haram accountant who was travelling in a commuter bus as a cover.  The accountant was said to be travelling with N4.5 million in cash belonging to the Islamic group.  They are now under intense interrogation by security agents in Kano.
