[PHOTOS] Rihanna releases “Diamonds” single cover with drug imagery

Troubled singer Rihanna tweeted a photo of the cover for her upcoming single “Diamonds”. The black & white cover features the Bajan singer simulating rolling a blunt with diamond rocks instead of marijuana seeds. Despite the obvious drug imagery, Rihanna, who exhibits symptoms of bipolar disorder, told Z-100′s Elvis Duran that “Diamonds” has a “positive” message.


“The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically,” she said
